  Overall, the tea is okay. However, our recent experience in-store was extremely horrible. We've been loyal customers to this store for years, but when we pushed our way through the crowded doorways that were packed with sample givers, little did we know that we were in for a terrible surprise. I saw that there were at least seven employees here, with only about 2-3 customers. There were three working the counter, two (unnecessarily) giving out samples, and two just wandering around aimlessly. In my opinion, they could have easily gotten away with four (one giving samples, two at the counter, and one helping customers.) We came here to quickly pick up a Mother's Day gift for my mom, and knew exactly what we wanted and how much of it we needed, so we came up to the counter and specifically asked for the stuff. The employee randomly took out a completely different kind of tea that we asked for and began a lengthy explanation of it, telling us that we should spend hundreds of dollars on it to get 10% off. We politely listened, and he eventually got our tea out. We asked for two oz. of the Gyokuro Imperial Green Tea, and he poured 2.6 oz. in there! This would raises the price of the tea by about six dollars, so we told him to take some out. We ended up with 2.3 oz., and by this time were just hoping to get out soon. The last thing we needed was a teacup that we'd seen earlier. I hadn't seen it anywhere, so I asked a wandering saleslady if it was still in stock. She said she didn't think so, but proceeded to follow us around like a puppy and show me countless expensive tea sets, even when I told her multiple times that we just needed ONE teacup. Finally we found one that we liked, and just when we thought this nightmare was over and began to checkout, the saleslady asked us if we'd like a sample cup of tea to go. We said yes, thinking that it'd be 100% free, since this is what she said. Thankfully, I looked at her going over to the tea making counter, and then looked at our cash register price and saw that it had gone up ten dollars for two cups of tea! We immediately canceled the order. The salesman obnoxiously said, "What are you going to use to strain this?" and showed us more products that we didn't need. We told him no, and left the store. As we attempted to escape from the bombarding sample givers the closed off the doorways, I overheard them complaining to each other about a customer from earlier. We had reached fresh air! I don't plan on going to this store anymore, but if you dare to venture into the small, claustrophobic aisle of Teavana, beware of the pushy salespeople!

  It's all a scam. They give you samples of tea that is sugared up like crazy and usually a lot more then the recommended dosage so you can actually TASTE the flavor. My ex knew someone who worked in the store and got all the lovely dirt on how they basically lie to customers and up sell like crazy. He got one of their teas and it was pricey as hell and when he went to make it the flavor was lacking and thats when he asked his friend what gives and she spilled out how they put extra into the carafes.
  
  The space of the store also makes it hard to maneuver anywhere. Honestly go to fava tea down bluemound much better selection and more tastings too.
